Job Description

90% FTE, day/evening shift, Monday - Friday with a weekend rotation. Holiday rotation and call required once training is completed. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients.
  • Connect and form therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Perform apheresis and administer infusions for patients suffering from a wide variety of conditions including cancer, chronic illnesses, dehydration, infection, immune deficiency and chronic pain.
  • Administer Chemotherapy and supportive therapies as adjunct care to the UW Health | Carbone Cancer Center.
  • Assist with stem cell collection for bone marrow transplant patients.
  • Participate in ongoing oncology educational and growth opportunities.

Education:

Preferred - Bachelor of Science-Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months of relevant clinical experience.

Preferred - Recent oncology experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin. CPR certification.

Preferred - Chemotherapy certification.
