Key Responsibilities

  • Co-Develop and document brand tone and voice guidelines to be used when developing copy for all brand communication materials. Continuous hunger for improvement and experimentation with content execution. Responding to change in swift flexible manner when priority shifts based on the opportunity impact in Americas market.

  • Interpret marketing strategies/briefs - develop creative messaging that effectively communicates stated objectives while adhering to brand guidelines.

  • Will show demonstrated ability to proofread, edit and review marketing materials for accuracy and brand guidelines and trademark usage.

  • Ability to create user-friendly, engaging, and timely content which reflects the brand's tone of voice, drives conversion and follows channel best practices i.e.. social media, eCommerce, paid media copy etc.

  • Ability to write clear, concise and engaging copy in an efficient matter that conveys the intended

  • Message. Can think outside the box to produce unique and compelling ideas for copy

  • Effectively articulate brand's tone and messaging in writing.

  • Able to produce texts for different audiences, formats and media, while adapting tone and style as needed

  • Create consistent feature/benefits format and styles for all product lines to ensure consistency.

  • Develop editorial copy to support key consumer education efforts.

  • Write content for (Waterford & Wedgwood) direct & indirect websites which can be relatable to US consumer

  • Ability to leverage SEO and UX in content writing to increase conversion for all channels for direct & indirect ecom sites, especially Amazon

  • Track performance analytics to optimize copy/content

  • Optimize existing product listings to improve search rankings and overall performance

  • Understand consumer journey and all the touch points in a digital world

  • Knows how to conduct keyword research and competitive analysis

  • Create copy and engaging subject lines for email newsletters for Waterford & Wedgwood subscribers

Experience & knowledge:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a copywriter working with consumer brands in the ecommerce industry

  • Experience with Amazon and/or Wayfair

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and keyword research tools

  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to develop creative concepts that bridge brand goals with business needs

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, can-do attitude

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Understanding of key KPIs in digital marketing

  • Understanding or knowledge of Agile or Scrum working framework

  • Proficient in Mac, Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator and InDesign preferred
