MasterMold, LLC has Industrial Painter openings at our Johnson Creek plant, due to recent growth. MasterMold offers competitive pay. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge and experience in a manufacturing setting.
These are full-time, first and second shift potions (shift premiums available).
Pay is based upon experience. Training for this role is not preferred

An example of duties includes, but isn’t limited to:
- Set up and operate High Viscosity/Low Pressure spray guns, to paint or coat products with paint, clear coat, and primer.
- Measure and mark vinyl material and cut material to size for part installation, using rules, straightedges, and hand shears.
- Cut and tape plastic separating film to outside repair areas to avoid damaging surrounding surfaces during repair procedure, and remove tape and wash surfaces after repairs are complete.
- Apply solvents and cleaning agents to clean surfaces of product, and to remove accretions, discolorations, and deteriorated coatings.
- Apply designs, lettering, or other identifying or decorative items to finished products, using paint brushes or paint sprayers.
- Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using viscometers.
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Paint small items and perform touch-up painting, using airbrushing techniques.
- Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, using automated paint mixing equipment.
- Start pumps to mix solutions and fill tanks.
Requirements:
- Relatable experience includes individuals who have painted in a body shop and/or painted (liquid coating) in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates would have 2 years' experience in one or both of these areas and/or a combination of accredited education.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass a Medical Respirator Evaluation
