Matt Sandlow, RN, BS, CPHQ, CCM: Since earning his California Registered Nurse Licensure in 1979, Matt's clinical journey has spanned Critical Care, Trauma, and Cardiac Surgery. He ventured into acute care nursing management that same year and pivoted to Managed Care in 1993. Matt has since held pivotal roles in quality, credentialing, utilization, and care management within the managed care sphere. Presently, he is the Senior Manager of Care Management at Blue Shield of California. Matt is certified in Health Care Quality and Care Management, reflecting his commitment to excellence in the field. His extensive experience and leadership in care management are integral to our team's success.
Josh Freilich, RN, MSN, MHA: With a robust 24-year nursing career, primarily in Emergency Nursing, Josh has ascended through numerous leadership roles, including Division Chief Nurse overseeing six hospitals and taking on Chief Operating Officer duties. Currently, he serves as the FEP Post Service Manager at Blue Shield of California. His academic achievements include a Master of Health Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing, complemented by his completion of the Change Leadership Program at UCSF and a Ministry Leadership Program. Josh is also an accomplished academic, having co-published research articles and co-authored grants. Outside his professional life, Josh cherishes time with his family, embracing the great outdoors through camping, hunting, and fishing.
