  • Estimated annual base pay:(min) $95,400 - (mid) $119,200 - (max) $143,000 USD Annual

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Quality Engineer III professional, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Responsible for providing a moderate to high level of customer support and mentoring to the other quality engineers. This position requires minimal supervision with a high level of independent work. Drives the use of Six Sigma principles, methods and tools.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Acts as the Customer Advocate within Woodward processes and systems.

  • Acts as the Customer liaison for compliance to customer quality requirements and customer satisfaction relative to quality of products and services.

  • Responsible for a medium number or size of customer accounts. Consults with leadership or higher-level customer quality engineers on advanced or complex issues.

  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking customer quality data.

  • Drives root cause analysis and problem solving utilizing Six Sigma methodology and Woodward Quality Management System processes.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 + years of Quality related experience required.

  • U.S. bachelor's degree in arts/sciences required.

  • Nationally recognized quality certification desired. (e.g., American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ-CQE) certification).

  • Green Belt or Black Belt trained.

  • Expert knowledge and the utilization of Six Sigma principals, tools and methodology. Advocates Six Sigma principals throughout the organization

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations. Writes and presents standard technical reports to peers, management, andcustomers.

  • Demonstrates a high degree of competency to capture important data, analyze data and report appropriate conclusions; able to identify and address the critical few from the trivial many. Drives action to address conclusions
